In recent years the words
"gourmet coffee"
have caught on. It is a description that is often
abused. Not all coffees can be described as such.
True gourmet coffee should come from plantations
that are localed in special areas, cultivated
following rigid rules, harvested with great care
and processed following a strict procedure.
It is for this reason that a raw gourmet coffee
costs the roasting house up to ten times more
than an ordinary good quality coffee. Piansa has
chosen to work in this limited field. Producing
gourmet coffee in single varietes, in order to
enjoy their individual charateristics, and in
special blends formulated with the ineffable taste
of Pietro Staderini. |
